A short walk from Shinagawa Station, Shinagawa Central Garden lies in between The Strings Tokyo Intercontinental Hotel and the Shinagawa Intercity complex. During lunch time, the park-like garden becomes a hub for hungry business men and women. Restaurants line the bottom floors of the surrounding two buildings, giving many options as to what to eat. There are fountains and interesting structures characteristic of Japanese gardens, and of course, plenty of trees and places to sit. There are even several conveniently located manner stations for people to take a smoke break. It is a great place to eat and enjoy nature and also to observe Japanese business culture.
