There are a number of destinations where you can enjoy glimpses of the iconic mountain from your room, ensuring memories that will stay with you long after checkout.

Kozantei Ubuya

If you're seeking an accommodation spot where all rooms offer a view of Mount Fuji, look no further than Kozantei Ubuya. Located just a five minute drive from Kawaguchiko Station, this ryokan is praised online for its top-notch customer service, high-quality meals, and luxurious surroundings. Konansou

Located right on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, Konansou gives you spectacular views of either Mount Fuji or the lake depending on the side of the building that your room is on. There is also a foot bath on the roof of the premises that can be accessed by all patrons if you don't feel like completely submerging.

Nippondaira Hotel

Only an hour from Tokyo, Nippondaira Hotel offers both Japanese and Western style rooms, many of which offer views of Mount Fuji. If you're looking for something to do in the area during your stay, be sure to stop by the Nihondaira Yume Terrace – it's an observation deck designed by revered Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, and visitors can enjoy some fantastic views of both Suruga Bay and Fuji-san on clear days. It's only around 10 minutes on foot from the hotel.

Another option that sits right on Lake Kawaguchi, Kukuna offers over 60 rooms that each have private balconies with stunning views of Mount Fuji. Fuji Lake Hotel

An easy 10 minutes on foot from Kawaguchiko Station, the Fuji Lake Hotel offers picturesque views of either Mount Fuji or Lake Kawaguchi depending on your room's location. The venue also includes a large public onsen with a jacuzzi and sauna, plus private baths which can be rented for an additional fee. Some rooms come equipped with their own open-air baths if you'd prefer that option.

Konansou was an anniversary trip for us a few years ago, and when the staff take you to your room the blinds are closed...then they literally do this "ta-da!" moment where they press a button and the blinds lift and there is Fuji in all its glory. Super memorable!
