"We want Makaino Farm to remain a place where the importance of agriculture and gentle touch can be felt -- where people and nature can come together, whatever the trend of the times is." Indeed, true to the farm management's primary objective, my friend and I enjoyed the company of farm animals like mountain goats, cows, horses, different kinds of birds and hamsters, among others. Despite the snow covered place, we were able to pet and feed the rabbits and the sheep inside their cages and stables. It was an unforgettable experience at the foot of Mt. Fuji.

Leah -- It was the first time that it snowed real hard in this place. Luckily, it added to the beauty I wanted to capture. Petting the animals are much fun, though, they smell but that's the only downside of it, it doesn't equate to the fulfillment you will get when you experience it.
